Namah Shivaya Yoga School offers an in depth understanding of practicing the yoga postures with correct alignment, linking movement with breath, modifications for injuries and pregnancy, progressive relaxation techniques and developing skill in teaching a Yoga Class.
- We pride in being one of the Authentic Yoga Schools in the United States that offer an in depth understanding of the deeper dimensions of the Yoga Science and Philosophy of yoga which include a study of the governing principles of yoga as taught in the Bhagwad Gita , Lalita Sahasranama and Patanjali Yoga Sutras.

Schedule : We meet One weekend a month (Sat and Sun from 8.00 am to 6 pm) and 9 weekends of training are required to complete 200 Hours of Yoga Alliance Certified training hours.
JOIN ANYTIME to complete 9 modules : The program is divided into a total of 9 modules and the student has the flexibility of joining the program anytime to complete a total of 10 weekends. If you miss a weekend of training then you have the option to make up that missed module during our Weekday ( monday – friday) teacher training program.
Please note : You will need to cover ALL THE MODULES published in the Yoga Alliance 200 Hour curriculum.

The Flexi Choice program is your best option to becoming a Yoga Teacher. and has been designed to meet any or all of the criteria that challenges most people into committing to the Yoga Teacher Training.
After many years of working with professionals, single or stay home moms, we have finally offered a program that will bring the high standards of our training to students who have limited availability but are committed to the in depth studies of the Yoga Practice. The Flexi Choice Program allows you to complete the 200 Hour Training as a combination of Weekday and Weekend training based on your availability. Our experienced Training Team will work with each individual to complete all 10 modules of training and 200 Hours of training as published in our YA curriculum. Yoga Alliance Standards of Training
Techniques Training/ Practice: Includes asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, meditation and other traditional yoga techniques. The training includes 1) analytical training in the techniques and 2) guided practice of the techniques themselves.
Methodology Includes principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting
Anatomy and Physiology Includes both human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc).
Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics Includes the study of yoga philosophies, yoga lifestyle and ethics for yoga
Practicum Includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing and giving feedback.
